How was the on-site inspection of the wedding venue in Tuscany? Did it give you any useful ideas for planning your destination wedding?
Absolutely, coming to Tuscany for a site inspection was one of the best decisions we made for our destination wedding. Being able to see Villa Bellaria in person, meet the family, taste the menu options, talk to the chef, and meet the vendors allowed us to visualize how everything would come together on our wedding day.
Tasting the food was especially valuable; we discovered strong preferences for some ingredients and dishes. It helped us make sure that every detail was in line with our vision and preferences. The groom, who prefers non-alcoholic options, enjoyed the beautiful fruit cocktails offered by the caterer at Grand Hotel Impero.
Tasting and Vendor Meetings

It allowed us to see firsthand the quality of the food and the level of service provided by the catering team. By sampling the menu items, we were able to ensure that the dishes met our taste preferences and dietary requirements.
In addition, meeting with the vendors gave us the opportunity to discuss our vision for the wedding in detail and address any concerns or special requests we had. This direct interaction allowed us to build a rapport with the vendors and gain confidence in their ability to execute our vision flawlessly. Overall, the site inspection not only provided us with valuable information, but also gave us peace of mind that we were making the right choices for our special day.
We met the photographer, Michele Ruffaldi Santori, who did a photo shoot for us that was included in the package. We love his artistic eye and the prompt delivery of the photos. We already know that we will be relaxed on our wedding day under the artistic hands of Michele and Ilaria.

The approach with Etis Prifti of The Wedding Trail (on-site coordinator) was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us warmly and made us feel valued and seen.
She took the time to understand our vision for the wedding and guided us through every aspect of the planning process. When it came to menu selection, the on-site coordinator provided valuable insight and suggestions based on her experience. She made sure to accommodate our preferences while offering creative ideas to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
Overall, her professionalism and attention to detail made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. We felt reassured knowing that we had such a dedicated team supporting us every step of the way. The combination of the wine with each course was a must for us.

During the site inspection, we were thrilled to find that there were various options available for different dietary requirements. As we have guests with specific dietary needs, such as vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free, having these options ensured that everyone would be well-catered for on our special day.

Exploring the surroundings of Villa Bellaria was truly magical. It gave us a sense of the romantic atmosphere and ambiance that Tuscany offers, which perfectly complemented our vision for a dream wedding. It allowed us to imagine exchanging vows surrounded by the stunning scenery and soaking in the beauty of the Italian countryside.
A big shout out to the on-site coordinator who gave us amazing insider locations and tips! We toured Montalcino and tasted some excellent wine at the local Enoteca. This will certainly be one of the places we recommend for guests staying multiple days at the venue.
