Persian Destination Wedding in Tuscany | Chianti Wedding Planner
Planning a destination wedding in Tuscany is always special, but Andrea and Eric’s celebration on May 29, 2025, at Podere La Specola was truly unforgettable. At The Wedding Trail, I’ve always believed these moments should weave together culture, passion, and perfect personal touches—and this destination wedding in Tuscany, featuring an authentic Persian ceremony in the heart of Chianti, reminded me exactly why I became a Chianti wedding planner.
Those iconic cypress trees at Podere La Specola, the rolling hills, that golden light, ancient olive trees—the landscape does the work for you. We set up the ceremony on a beautiful green lawn surrounded by tall trees, with panoramic views stretching out behind. The light shifted throughout the day in that way it only does in Tuscany, from brilliant afternoon sun to soft, amber twilight.
Working with Erbaefior and Ikebana.Officinafloreale on the florals was incredible. We went bold—deep reds, soft pinks, striking blues—in an eclectic mix of vases that somehow just worked. Andrea’s bouquet was stunning and echoed the botanical patterns on the dinner plates. The reception table became this long, communal space with crisp linens, intricate glassware, and those botanical-motif plates. Even small touches, like napkins with fresh lemon details, tied into that natural Tuscan feel. As the sun set, warm lights draped over the historic villa created pure magic.
What I remember most is the energy. The Persian ceremony was beautiful and meaningful, but watching Andrea and Eric—and their guests—truly let loose made the day special. There’s this moment captured where Andrea is laughing, dancing, eating ice cream with her friends. That’s what it’s all about. Impero Catering delivered exceptional food, and working alongside photographers Julian Kanz and Beatrice Moricci meant every moment was captured perfectly.
This destination wedding in Italy embodied everything I value in planning destination weddings in Tuscany—curiosity about different cultures, sharing meaningful moments, and creating something bespoke that honors who the couple really is.
Here’s to Andrea and Eric!
